A favorite design, the peasant top or, if made longer, peasant dress is an easy to slip on and go option. By the end of the day, the dress had taken a direct hit from a chocolate ice cream cone, but you can see in the last picture that I satin stitched around the edge of a eyelet heart shape to add an "applique" effect near the bottom hem. Never fear, it washed up just fine.
