Baby Gifts and this is just half of it...

My sewing buddies and I have been joking these last few weeks that my sewing studio is "Santa's little sweat shop." We have been sewing a lot. I guess once you figure out that you can hand make gifts, there is no turning back. There have been a flurry of voile circle scarves, fabric embellished towels, pj pants, baby gifts and even a few dresses. Here's some pics of some of the baby gifts.

A sensory lovie. One side is plush minky fabric and the other is cotton voile.

A nursing cover made in a beautiful Amy Butler print.

All packaged up! The blanket, sensory lovie and burp cloths together make an excellent gift for a new or expecting mom. Shown in the top photo are the blanket (one side minky and one side quilting cotton, bound with bias tape) and the pair of burp cloths made from Amy Butler fabrics.
